Creamy Basil Chicken Pasta

  Easy week night meal!!!!
  1 box   Angel Hair Pasta(or any pasta you like)
  1 pound   Boneless skinless chicken breast cut into bite size pieces
  3 cups   Heavy whipping cream(you can also use half and half)
  1 stick   Salted butter
  1 tbsp   Butter
  2 tbsp   Dried basil
  1 tsp   Salt or more to taste
  1/2 tsp   Coarse ground black pepper
  1 tbsp   minced garlic
  1 cup   Optional Mushrooms,broccoli,asparagus ect
  1 pot   Water for pasta
  1/2 cup   Optional freshly grated parm cheese
  Bring large pot of water to a boil. Salt water when it starts to boil.Add pasta and cook according to directions on the box. Put heavy cream and stick of butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat on high for 4-5 min.Add 1 tbsp of butter to large deep frying pan .Melt butter add bite size pieces of chicken and cook till no longer pink.Add garlic and cook for 1 minute making sure garlic does not burn. Add drained cooked pasta to chicken. Add cream and butter mixture to pasta and chicken. Add basil and salt. Toss and enjoy!

Note: If adding veggies such as broccoli ar mushrooms, saute with chicken. Or pre cook veggies and add at the end!
