Crockpot Taco Bake

Taco bake, slow cooker style. |
Ingredients: |

1 LB |
|
Ground beef/turkey |
|
1/2 Cup |
|
Chopped onion |
|
3/4 Cup |
|
Water |
|
1 1 3/4 oz package |
|
taco seasoning |
|
1 Can (15 oz) |
|
tomato sauce |
|
1 8 oz package |
|
shell macaroni, uncooked |
|
1 Can (4 oz) |
|
mild chopped green chiles |
|
2 Cups |
|
mild shredded chedder or Jack cheese |
Directions: |

1. In a skillet, brown beef/turkey and onions, drain.
2. Add the water, taco seasoning, and tomato sacue; stir to a blend.
3. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes
4. Transfer to slow cooker.
5. Stir in macaroni and chopped green chiles.
6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
7. About 30 minutes before end of cooking time, top with shredded cheese.
