Taco Salad and Sliced Watermelon

This super-easy taco salad is a favorite for summer suppers and pot-lucks!
|
In addition to the recipe, you will also need the following for this meal:

Taco Salad

Great for pot-lucks and picnics! This is always one of the first things to see an empty bowl! |
Ingredients: |
|
1 head |
|
lettuce |
|
2 c. |
|
shredded cheddar cheese |
|
1/4 |
|
onion |
|
1 lb. |
|
hamburger |
|
1 bottle |
|
taco sauce (mild) |
|
1 bottle |
|
Catalina dressing |
|
1 bag |
|
taco Doritos |
Directions: |
|
Cook hamburger and allow to cool. Cut up the head of lettuce and portion of the onion. Once the hamburger is cooled, mix the lettuce, onion and cheese into a large bowl. Add 3/4 bottle of taco sauce and 3/4 bottle of dressing and mix salad completely. Crunch up the bag of chips and add to the top of the salad.
