Making snow cones with freshly fallen snow is so much fun and has been proven to make you feel better about having to shovel. This is also a great all natural alternative to traditional snow cones in the summer and a great project to get kids involved with making!
Ingredients:
  2 Tbsp   Raspberry Jam
  1 Tbsp   Water
  1 Cup   Snow/Shaved Ice
  2 Tbsp   Fresh Mint (optional)
  1/2 Cup   Fresh Raspberries
Directions:
Start by creating your fruit syrup and allowing it to thoroughly cool down. Put the jam and water in a microwave safe container and head for 1 min or until soft enough to stir and combine. Put in your refrigerator to cool. Fill a cup with your snow or crushed ice. Pour syrup on top, add your raspberries and top with chopped fresh mint (optional). This snow cone is a great dessert to make with either freshly fallen snow or by making your own snow using a blender. You can change out your jam flavor to strawberry or whatever fresh fruit you'd like to substitute.
