Great Flank Steak Marinade

  This delicious marinade can be used for any steak, but works especially well on tougher cuts.
Ingredients:
  1/2 C   Soy Sauce
  2 T   Brown sugar
  2 T   Lemon Juice
  2 T   Olive oil
  2 cloves   Minced garlic
  1 T   Minced onion
  1 tsp   Ground Ginger
  1/2 tsp   Black pepper
  1 1/2 Lb   Beef flank steak
Directions:
  1. In a shallow bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, onion, ginger and pepper. Coat steak with marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
2. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate.
3. Grill steak for 7 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.
