A delicious and lighter take on the traditional cheeseburger.
Ingredients:
1 20 oz   Pack of ground turkey (be lazy and get premade patties like me or form your own)
2 Tbsp   McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger Mix
1 spray   Pam Nonstick Canola Spray
4 pieces   Gouda Cheese (one for each burger)
  4 buns   Hamburger Buns
4 Tbsp   Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce
  4 Pieces   Lettuce
Directions:
Open ground turkey and preheat your grill or skillet setting at a medium heat. Form burger patties. Season with your favorite seasoning on both sides (I used McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger mix). Spray your grill or pan with Pam Nonstick Canola Spray. Put your turkey burgers on to start cooking. Mine cooked about 5 minutes each side but keep an eye on yours since your heat settings may be different. Once both sides are cooked place burgers on a plate to rest. Assemble your cheeseburger while the meat it still hot so your cheese melts a little. Add your turkey burger patty to your bun, add 1 Tbsp BBQ sauce for each burger and a piece of lettuce. Serve warm.
