  A classic recipe from a friend's grandmother.
Ingredients:
  1 lb   beef or pork
  2 T   cooking oil
  1 C   celery cut in 1" pieces
  1 C   onions, sliced
  1/2 tsp   salt
  1 dash   pepper
  1 C   water
  1 1.4oz can   bean sprouts
  1/4 C   soy sauce
  3 T   cornstarch
  1/4 C   cold water
Directions:
  brown meat in oil in cooking pan.
Add celery, onions, salt, pepper and water.Cover & cook for 10 minutes. Celery should be slightly crunchy.
Remove cover and add bean sprouts. Simmer in open pan for 3 minutes.
Add soy sauce. Mix well.
Thicken with corn starch mixed in cold water. Cook one minute.
Serve with hot rice or chow mein noodles.
