Hamburger mixed with vegetables and sauces and then placed inside dough. I use canned dough from pillsbury.
Ingredients:
  1 package   Hamburger
  2 cloves   Cloves of Garlic
  1 large   Large Onion
  1 bag   mixed vegetables frozen
  2 large   potatoes
  1 package   Taco Seasoning
1 Packge   Gravy mix, turkey or whatever
2 cans   Canned Dough, french bread
    nonstick spray, pam
Directions:
STEP ONE: In a medium size pot, I put a package of hamburger in a deep sided pan. Then one large onion, 2 cloves of garlic to it while cooking. Cook until done.

STEP TWO: While this is cooking, I microwave a small package of mixed vegetables or use half of a lage size bag. Just until its not frozen, you dont want over cook this because it will go into the oven. When done set aside on counter.( I have to admit I hate the lima beans so i took them all out!)

STEP THREE: I then grab about 2 large potatoes. You can you use more its up to you. I peel then and cube them into small cubes. Then put into a new dish and microwave until tender. When done set aside on counter.

STEP FOUR: Once everything is done and set aside. I then go and add a package of taco seasoning to the hamburger. DO NOT ADD WATER! I use taco seasoning in every dish that i make that has hamburger. I like the flavor to be strong so I do not add water. Dont worry it wont be to strong where it takes over.

STEP FIVE: Now I slowly mix in the potatoes, and the mixed Vegetables. I just add them in slowly and mix to see if I want to add more. You dont have to use all the stuff. Some may love more meat and some may want more vegetables or more potatoes. So making in seperate dishes allows you add the portions of what you like.

STEP SIX: The last ingredient is gravy. I use gravy in a package. Its cheaper and I can make it more on the runny side then the canned. So again i use a container that held the vegetables and just add the gravy and water, whisk and microwave. Then pull it out every min or so and whisk until its a runny thick. Then toss in the hamburger stew.

Now the experimental stage. I have made this with the stew on the bottom and mashed potatoes on top and bake. No breading. But I love breading and didnt like the mashed potatoes on the top. So instead I cut them up and added with the veges. I Wanted to try to to stuff them inside of bread.

Step SEVEN: The plan is to roll out the dough and place the mixture on the dough. Then fold it up and seal it and cook it. I use the french bread pillsbury dough.
I generally use 350 to cook. but you could use 350-400. Bake until done.
*You could also eggwash it or olive oil brush it or spray it with olive oil pam.

Notes: The hardest part is to shape it into a round ball and have it rise up. I have working on this ever time I make this dish. I have not found a method I like yet. But I am getting closer. I could use a round pan, but I hate trying to get things out. I was going to use my spring round pan, but I cant find it.
cup
Another method I found on the net is to use biscuits and place them in a cupcake pan and fill them with the stew and bake. Sounds great but too small for dinner.
