collard greens

Ingredients:
  3 slices   bacon
  1/2 cup   chopped onion
  1/2 tsp   crushed red pepper
  1/4 tsp   salt
  16 oz   collard greens
  1 cup   chicken broth
  1/2 cup   water
  1/4 cup   dry white wine
  1 1/2 TBSP   white vinegar
Directions:
  Cook bacon in dutch oven over med-high heat until crisp. Remove bacon from pan; crumble. Add onion to drippings in pan; cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Add pepper, salt and greens; cook 2 minutes or until greens begin to wilt. stirring constantly. Stir in bacon, broth, and remaining ingredients. Cover and reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until greens are tender.
