Yorkshire Steaks

serves: 4
  Groundbeef & yorkshire pudding all rolled into one.
Ingredients:
  1 lb   ground beef
  1/2 c   chopped onion
  1 tbsp   salt
  2 tbsp   summer savory or sage
  1 c   milk
  1 ea   egg
  1 c   flour
  1/2 tsp   baking powder
  1/4 tsp   salt
Directions:
  1. Brown meat in frying pan. Add onion, 1 tbsp salt & summer savory. Cook until onions are clear.

2. Grease an 8" square pan, layer meat in bottom

3. Beat egg and milk together. Sift flour, 1/4 tsp salt & baking powder, then add to milk & egg mixture. Pour this batter over meat.

4. Bake at 450 F for 30 min. Cut into squares & servev with salad.
