Slow Roasted BBQ Beer ribs

  So tasty. Can be baked and frozen until ready to use. I often make a couple batches during the cooler months then defrost and bbq them come summer when it's too hot to use the oven.
Ingredients:
  1 pkg   pork ribs
  2 bottles   beer
  1   bay leaf
  4 cloves   garlic
    salt and pepper to taste
  1 tsp   seasoning salt
  1   onion roughly chopped
    bbq sauce
    steak spice
Directions:
  Preheat oven to 225*F, Cut up rib slabs into individual ribs. Put ribs in roaster and add next 6 ingredients. Slow roast for 2 to 3 hours. Drain ribs, brush with bbq sauce and sprinkle with steak spice. BBQ ribs until heated through and outside is crispy.
