Pot Roast - Slow Cooker

  Cooks while you're at work. Great smell to come home to.
Ingredients:
  1   Roast Beef to suit your family size
  3   Potatoes, peeled and quartered (or more to suit)
  4   Carrots, peeled and cut (or more to suit)
  1/4 cup   red wine (or white, or water)
    Seasoning salt to taste
    garlic powder to taste
    pepper to taste
Directions:
  Season roast on all sides with spices. Pour the liquid in the slow cook and add the roast. Cook on low for 4 hours, add potatoes and carrots and cook for an additional 4 hours. Allow meat to sit for 10 minutes before carving.

Note: I turn the roast on in the morning before I leave for work, then add the vegetables when I'm home for lunch. They can be added in the morning, but they will be very, very soft.
