Pot Roast - Slow Cooker

Cooks while you're at work. Great smell to come home to. |
Ingredients: |

1 |
|
Roast Beef to suit your family size |
|
3 |
|
Potatoes, peeled and quartered (or more to suit) |
|
4 |
|
Carrots, peeled and cut (or more to suit) |
|
1/4 cup |
|
red wine (or white, or water) |
|
|
|
Seasoning salt to taste |
|
|
|
garlic powder to taste |
|
|
|
pepper to taste |
Directions: |
|
Season roast on all sides with spices. Pour the liquid in the slow cook and add the roast. Cook on low for 4 hours, add potatoes and carrots and cook for an additional 4 hours. Allow meat to sit for 10 minutes before carving.
Note: I turn the roast on in the morning before I leave for work, then add the vegetables when I'm home for lunch. They can be added in the morning, but they will be very, very soft.
