Pigs-in-a-Blanket

serves: 8
My mother's recipe and a childhood favorite of mine. Simple and yummy! Serve with rice or noodles.
Ingredients:
  24   breakfast pork sausage links
3 cans   Pilsbury or similar buttermilk biscuits
3 cans   cream of mushroom soup
  1/3 cup   milk
Directions:
(Try to get enough biscuits to wrap around every sausage link)

1) Preheat oven according to biscuit directions.

2) In a large covered skillet, cook sausages over medium heat in a small amount of water until the pork is completely cooked.

3) Drain water, brown sausages and remove. Do not clean skillet.

4) In the same skillet, add milk and stir to help lift sausage flavor from pan.

5) Add cream of mushroom soup and heat thoroughly; cover skillet and turn heat down to low. This will be your gravy.

6) Open biscuits, wrap each link in a biscuit and pinch on the bottom, forming a "blanket"; Place on a baking sheet.

7) Bake "pigs" in the oven according to biscuit directions, or until biscuits are nicely browned.

8) Serve your pigs with rice or noodles and pour gravy over the top. Enjoy!
