Pasta Fagioli

Pasta Fagioli is Italian for Pasta and Beans. Basically it's just pasta with a bean sauce. |
Ingredients: |

2 15 oz can |
|
Beans (Northern, Kidney or Pinto), drained |
|
2 cloves |
|
Garlic, minced |
|
1/2 head |
|
Onion, chopped |
|
1/2 cup |
|
Milk |
|
1 tsp |
|
Italian seasoning |
|
1 Tbsp |
|
Parmesan cheese |
|
12 oz |
|
Cooked pasta (linguine, penne, etc.) |
Directions: |
|
First make the sauce: Saute 2 cans of bean, half an onion and garlic. Mash the ingredients together using a potato masher or a wooden spoon. Add enough milk to cream the beans together. Add Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Spoon the sauce over the cooked pasta.
