No-Boil Classic Lasagna

  basic lasagna recipe
Ingredients:
  4 oz.   uncooked lasagna noodles
  1 c.   cottage cheese OR 7.5 oz. ricotta cheese
  1 c.   mozzarella cheese, divided
  1/4 c.   parmesan cheese
  1   egg, lightly beaten
  3 c.   pasta sauce
  1 lb.   ground beef, cooked & drained
  1 tsp.   parsley flakes
Directions:
  Combine cottage (or ricotta) cheese, 1/2 c. mozzarella, Parmesan, and eggs. In another bowl, mix browned meat & pasta sauce. Spread 1 c. meat mixture in 9x13 pan. Place 1/3 of uncooked lasagna noodles over. Spread 1/2 of cheese mixture over noodles, top with 1/3 meat mixture. Repeat layering; top with rest of noodles and meat mixture. Cover with foil & bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with rest of mozzarella & w/ parsley flakes. Bake 5 more minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Let stand 15 min.
