Mel's Nachos

Easy quick nachos. I often cook lots of ground hamburger ahead and freeze. Then can just pull out, thaw and season. Can make this with less hamburger also. |
Ingredients: |

3/4 lb |
|
ground beef |
|
1 can |
|
refried beans |
|
1 16oz |
|
sour cream (light or regular) |
|
1 can |
|
black olives |
|
1 14oz |
|
tortilla chips |
|
4 stalks |
|
green onions |
|
2 small |
|
tomatoes |
|
1 pkg |
|
taco seasoning |
|
1 jar |
|
salsa- of your choice |
|
1 8oz |
|
fiesta or mexican blend grated cheese |
Directions: |
|
cook and season hamburger (can do this ahead of time), spread thick single layer of chips (not entire bag) into large baking dish, add chunks of refried beans (no need to heat prior) around evenly. Spread cooked hamburger mix over top of that, then layer of grated cheese, top with olives sprinkled.
Bake 25 minutes in oven set to 400, remove and serve with salsa, sour cream, tomatoes and green onions as garnish
