Luffie's Chicken Souvlaki

  Greek style chicken souvlaki



Ingredients:
  6 large   Bonless/Skinless Chicken Breasts
  5 cloves   Minced Garlic
  2 tsp   oregano
  1/4 cup   oil (olive or canola)
  1/2 cup   white wine
  2 tbsp   lemon juice
  1 large   sealable freezer bag
Directions:
  Chop chicken into large bite sized pieces. Add chicken and all other ingredients into freezer bag and massage marinade into the chicken. Keep in fridge overnight (or at least an hour before cooking) to marinade and absorb flavours.

To cook in oven - Preheat oven to 450 degrees. If baking in oven pour entire contents of bag, chicken and marinade into a 9 x 13 pan, bake for 20mins then pour out most of the liquid. Turn to broil and cook until chicken starts to turn golden - do not overcook.

To cook on grill - Preheat BBQ to high. Discard marinade, cook in grill basket or skewer chicken pieces and grill kabobs until done.

Serve with cheater tzatziki over rice or in pita.
