Lazy Day Soup/Stew

This recipe not only makes two bags, but also two choices! It can be eaten as a soup OR serve over rice as a stew. |
Ingredients: |

4 lb |
|
cubed stewing beef |
|
4 cups |
|
baby red potatoes (cut in half) |
|
10 oz |
|
pkg dried lima beans |
|
4 tsp |
|
quick-cooking tapioca |
|

|
S&P, to taste |
|
15 ounce |
|
can tomato sauce (1/2 in each bag) |
|
2 tbsp |
|
brown sugar |
|
4 cups |
|
baby carrots |
|
2 ea |
|
onions (chopped) |
|
2 cups |
|
celery (chopped) |
Directions: |
|
Split between 2 bags, seal, mix, lay flat, freeze.
Add 1 cup water. Cook on low 4-6 hours. Eat as a soup, or serve over hot noodles or rice.
