El Dorado Beef

  El Dorado Beef Casserole
Ingredients:
  1/2 lb   ground beef
  1   med onion
  2 8 oz   tomato sauce
  1 c   water
  1/4 tsp   chili powder
  1 9 oz   tortilla chips, crushed
  1 c   sour cream
  1 4 oz   Shredded monterey jack cheese
Directions:
  Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat a 1 - 1 1/2 qt casserole dish with non stick spray. Brown the ground beef and onion on medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the tomato sauce, water, and chili powder. Mix. Reduce heat and simmer 2-3 min. Spread 1/3 beef mixture in dish then top with tortilla, 1/3 sour cream, and 1/3 cheese. Repeat the layers 2 more time ending with cheese. Bake 25 - 30 minutes, or until bubbly and the top is golden.
