Dorothy's cowboy beans

  cowboy beans
Ingredients:
  8 oz   pinto beans, dried
  24 oz can   tomatoes, diced or whole
  1 sm can   tomato paste
  1 bottle   v8 spicy
  1 med   onion
  1 clove   garlic
  1 tsp   cumin
  1 tsp   salt
  1 tsp   pepper
  1 sm   green pepper
  2 lbs   lean hamburger
Directions:
  Soak and then cook pinto beans(you can use canned)

Saute' hamburger, onions, garlic, salt a pepper

place all ingredients into crock pot and cook for a few hours until desired texture. Add other spices and seasonings to taste
