Deb's Lasagna

  Lasagna with beef, tomato, onion, 2 cheeses, and eggs.
Ingredients:
  1/2 c   chopped onion
  14 oz   beef broth
  28 oz   stewed tomatoes, drained
  1.50 tsp   salt
  1   bay leaf
  6 oz   tomato paste
  16 oz   lasagna noodles
  1.75 lbs   ground beef
  4   hard boiled eggs
  12 oz   mozzarella cheese
  12 oz   cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
    pepper to taste
    parmesan cheese
Directions:
  1. Mix first 6 ingredients and ground beef. Let simmer. This makes the sauce layer.

2. Mix mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese. This makes the cheese layer.

3. In 10 1/2 x 14 3/4 (4 qt) dish, layer as follows: sauce, noodles, cheese, sliced eggs.

4. Repeat layering, ending with sauce (about 3 times).

5. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 30 minutes.
