Creamy Herbed Vegetables (JP)

  creamy herbed vegetables
Ingredients:
  1/4 c   butter
  1/4 c   flour
  2 c   half & half
  1/4 c   chicken broth
  1/2 tsp   rubbed sage
  1/2 tsp   dried thyme
  1/2 tsp   parsley flakes
  1/2 tsp   garlic powder
  1/2 tsp   salt
  1/2 tsp   pepper
  1/2 tsp   dried rosemary, crushed
  16 oz   pearl onions, drained
  16 oz   frozen peas
  14 oz   frozen baby carrots
Directions:
  Melt butter, stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add cream, broth and seasonings. Bring to boil, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly. Add onions, peas, and carrots. Cover and simmer 30 mintes, stirring occasionally.
