Beef and cabbage-stuffed hand-pies, deep-fried to deliciousness. |
Ingredients: |

1 TB |
|
Veg Oil |
|
2 Lbs |
|
Ground Beef |
|
1 Small |
|
Onion |
|
1 Head |
|
Cabbage finely chopped |
|
1/2 tsp |
|
salt |
|
1/2 tsp |
|
pepper |
|
3 cans |
|
Crescent roll dough |
|
1 bottle |
|
Veg Oil for frying |
Directions: |
|
1. Heat 1 TB Veg. Oil in Large pot over med-high heat. Stir in Ground Beef, cook about 5 min. Stir in chopped onion, cook for 5 min. Stir in cabbage cook & stir until the cabbage has softened, about 10 min. Season with salt & pepper, then spread mixture onto a baking sheet to cool.
2. Flatten dought, place several TB of mixutre in the center of dough. Pull the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
3. Heat oil to 350 degrees.
4. Fry a few a time until golden brown
