Beer & Cheese Spread

Ingredients: |

2 lb |
|
shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
|
1 sm |
|
onion |
|
1/2 tsp |
|
hot sauce |
|
1/4 tsp |
|
ground red pepper |
|
12 oz |
|
bottle amber beer |
Directions: |
|
Let beer stand out until room temperature.
Beat together first 5 ingredients at low spead with electric mixer until well blended. Gradually add beer, beating until well blended after each addition. Beat at medium- high speed one minute until creamy. Seaons with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
***can also be used for grilled cheese sandwiches, just spread on on one piece like you would place a piece of American cheese and proceed.
