trish's ham and cabbage cornbread

  one dish meal
Ingredients:
  1 head   cabbage
  1 lb   chunked ham
  1 packet   jiffy cornbread mix
  1 raw   egg
Directions:
  cut up cabbage and boil to blanche.
either chunk up your ham or used precubed ham.
put cabbage and ham in greased iron skillet and
prepare jiffy cornbread mix with raw egg and pour that on top of the cabbage and ham.
bake in oven until the cornbread is cooked...using directions on pkg. You can add a second batch or cornbread to stretch this.
