Chili Dogs and Chips with Veggies & Dip

  Grill the weiners and heat up leftover chili to top your dogs. Sprinkle chopped onions over the chili. Serve with your choice of chips and veggies and dip.
In addition to the recipes, you will also need the following for this meal:
  1 pkg.  weiners
  1 pkg.  hot dog buns
  1 bag  carrots, or other veggies for dipping
  1 sm.  onion, chopped
  1 bag  chips

15 Minute Chili

  It's getting colder outside! In 15 minutes, this easy recipe will take the chill off.
Ingredients:
  1 lb   ground turkey
  1/2 c   chopped onion
  1 16-oz. can   pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  1 16-oz. can   kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  1 28-oz. can   chopped stewed tomatoes
  1 T.   chili powder
  1 T.   cumin powder
  1/2 C.   salsa
Directions:
  1. In a large pot, brown turkey with chopped onion.



2. Add beans, tomatoes, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and salsa to turkey mixture. Cook until hot.



3. Serve with cornbread, cooked pasta, cooked rice, or on top of a baked potato. Sprinkle with cheese if desired.
Dill Dip

  This recipe is perfection itself in its simplicity. I have my Aunt Linda to thank for this one.
Ingredients:
  1 (16 oz.) pkg.   sour cream
  1 c.   mayonnaise
  2 tsp.   dried parsley
  3 tsp.   dried dill weed
  3 tsp.   minced onion
  1 1/2 tsp.   seasoned salt
Directions:
  In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, dill, onion and salt. Cover tightly with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
